Why the housing discrimination against students? Don’t we make up a significant portion of the population in town? Aren’t we the ones serving you dinner and making your happy-hour drinks for a whopping $8.50 an hour? Why is it so hard to find a decent place to live that isn’t charging an arm and a leg or won’t even consider renting because we are getting an education at the college that provides hundreds of jobs to locals? College students positively contribute to the community, so why the leper attitude?
