The Durango Adult Education Center has received a $75,000 Daniels Fund grant to support its BOOST Self-Sufficiency program.
BOOST helps students transition from poverty to economic self-sufficiency through career pathway planning, academic support and intensive case management.
The grant will be used for skills training, job shadowing and student employment placement. All current and former adult education center students are eligible for BOOST services.
