The Durango Public Library Advisory Board is accepting nominations for the Library Community Champion Award.
Recognizing that the success of any public library is enhanced and sustained by dedicated residents, the advisory board will single out certain people for their commitment through the Library Community Champion initiative. This distinction honors people’s achievements on behalf of the library and, in turn, the community.
Nominees’ contributions should include: serving as role models for dedication and service to the Durango Public Library; expending significant time, energy and commitment on behalf of the library and its patrons; and providing outstanding service and benefit to the library.
Applications are available at www.DurangoGov.org/Library or at the library information desk. Applications will be accepted through May 29.
