Colorado Foundation for Universal Health Care will bring together state organizations to hold rallies at noon Tuesday in celebration of International Health Coverage Day, which marks the anniversary of the 2012 United Nations’ unanimous endorsement of universal health care.
The Durango rally will be held on Main Avenue, starting at Buckley Park, 1250 Main Ave. Speakers during the rally will include Durango family physicians Dr. Kiki Searfus and Dr. Laurie Costello.
More than 1,000 organizations and 120 countries worldwide will participate in rallies Tuesday.
Colorado Foundation for Universal Health Care listed Indivisible Durango as a partner organization.
