Natural history to be subject of workshop

Durango Nature Studies will host a Natural History Workshop from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Durango Nature Center.

The cost is $10 for nonmembers. The workshop is free for members. Participants will receive free entry to the nature center, which is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nature Studies Program Coordinator Klancy Nixon will lead the tour. People will learn about the flora and fauna of the Four Corners and gain a better understanding of the natural surroundings.
