Backyard food production class will begin in May
Colorado State University Extension Office in La Plata County will offer a Backyard Food Production series from 6 to 8 p.m. various Tuesdays beginning May 3 in the Extension Building of the La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.
This is a series of 12 evening classes designed to help people grow and preserve food.
Classes are taught by local experts. For a schedule, call 382-6464. The cost is $130 for the entire course.
