The Southwestern Colorado Area Health Education Center will offer a free eight-week program, “Mini Med School Part 2: The Clinical Years,” from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Sept. 5 through Nov. 7, at these locations:
The Commons Building, 701 Camino del Rio, Room 320.Southwest Health System, 1311 N. Mildred Road, in Cortez.The Silverton School, 1160 Snowden St., in Silverton.Program topics include: emergency medicine; obstetrics and gynecology; diabetes mellitus; cardiology; storm chasing and disaster preparation in medicine; and more.
The program is open to people of all ages who are interested in health. Registration is required.
