Food safety classes for the restaurant industry will be offered to food service workers from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 to 8:30 p.m. April 11 in the Extension Office at La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.
The classes will cover the basic requirements for safe-food handling and Cottage Food Tier 1 producers.
Cost is $35 per person, and registration is required by April 4.
