All residents and anyone with a connection to Fort Lewis Mesa area of Southwest La Plata County are invited to attend a reunion June 26 and 27 at the Old Fort Lewis Library, 18683 Highway 140 in Hesperus.
June 26 starts with light breakfast in the library followed by history presentations and a walking tour.
June 27 begins with breakfast at Marvel Grange, 217 County Road 133A, followed by history presentations. a barbecue lunch and business meeting at the Red Mesa LDS Church, 6468 Highway 140. There will be a dance with the Blue Moon Ramblers from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Breen Community Building, 15300 Highway 140.
Prices for June 27 events before June 15:
- Breakfast: Adult $6, children $3 and family $24.
- Barbecue: Adult $16, children $8 and family $64.
- Dance: Adult $10, children $5 and family $40.
All prices double after June 15.
