San Juan Basin Public Health will offer free dental screenings and fluoride varnishes for children from 1 to 5 years old this spring to recognize National Children’s Dental Health Month, which is observed in February.
Kari Plante, regional oral health specialist, will be available for walk-in dental appointments from 8 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 3 p.m. on these dates:
March 5, April 2 and May 7 at the Durango office, 281 Sawyer Drive.March 19, April 23 and May 21 at the Pagosa Springs office, 502 S. Eighth St.Children must be accompanied by an adult.
