Solar Energy International, an industry leader in solar energy education and training, in partnership with Opportunity Next Colorado, is offering scholarships to 2024 high school graduates (and equivalent completers). High school graduates now have the opportunity to develop the essential skills for a career in the solar industry free of charge.
The scholarship covers tuition for two of SEI’s most fundamental courses, Solar Electric Design and Installation and PV System Fundamentals (Battery Based), giving students the skills for an entry-level career as a solar professional and preparing them to successfully complete the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners Photovoltaic Associates certification exam – the standard certification for private and public employers. The two courses are available online and take place over six weeks each. The courses are prerecorded with live support from instructors to answer any questions and provide feedback.
Applicants are required to be Colorado residents and have graduated high school in 2024 or completed their high school equivalent in 2024.
