The Southern Colorado Community Action Agency will offer a free workshop for people living with chronic health conditions from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesdays in Ignacio and Wednesdays in Durango from January through April.
The Ignacio workshop will be held at the Ignacio Senior Center, 15345 Colorado Highway 172, and the Durango workshop will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 419 San Juan Drive.
The Living Well Workshop is an evidence-based program designed to help people who have chronic health conditions like diabetes, heart disease, asthma, cancer, osteoporosis or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease feel less limited in engagement with life activities.
The workshop is open to all adults who have been diagnosed with a chronic condition.
