The public is invited to a Frybread Sale at the Durango Flea Market from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at 2500 Main Ave.
The sale is a benefit for Durango High School upcoming senior Logan France, who has been accepted to the Native American All-Star Showcase hosted by the Atlanta Braves. The Native American All-Star Baseball Showcase highlights Native American high school baseball players who aspire to play the game at the next level. Professional scouts and collegiate coaches will be in attendance.
France is one of 50 players selected across the United States. He is also a member of the DHS National Honor Society and is president of the DHS Native American Club. The showcase will give him opportunities to build his experience and skills all in the presence of recruiters.
