I think it’s too bad our local gun club has gone right wing. The club just made it a requirement that members belong to the NRA. Not that the club cares whether I rejoin or not, but I would have thought the club directors valued our freedom more. Where’s my freedom to join or not join any organization I want? Why should I have to join the NRA if I want to use the shooting range? The NRA has a lot of nutty positions I don’t want to support. And you know what? I won’t support any public funds going toward the current shooting range or any new one if I have to join the NRA to use it.
