The rocks-on-a-stick sculpture, more formally known as the 'Arc of History,' at the Doubletree intersection in Durango came in for its share of ridicule at this year's follies, seemingly replacing the focus on legal marijuana. Not surprisingly, a replica of the much-liked fake dinosaur head also makes appearances. This skit shows CDOT workers (and a couple of them actually do work for CDOT) reviewing submissions for an intersection sculpture.
Bayfield area rancher Steve Jung appears in two pieces in this year's Follies. In this one he is a doctor showing off an invention, the function of which can't be described in a family newspaper. In his other skit, he provides a public service alert about...oh never mind. We can't print that one, either!
