Mercy to offer free prediabetes class

Mercy Regional Medical Center will provide information to people who have been diagnosed with prediabetes from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday in Suite 140 of the medical office building at Mercy.

People diagnosed with prediabetes are at a higher risk of developing Type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Effectively managing this condition can help prevent diabetes.

Sheena Carswell and Marge Morris will offer this free class. Attendees will learn how to manage prediabetes and help prevent the onset of Type 2 diabetes.
