Brain Injury Alliance conference to be held
The Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado will hold the third of four regional conferences this year from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 26 at Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave.

One of the featured speakers at the conference will be Valerie Stone, who is a neuroscience researcher passionate about getting the results of scientific research out into the real world to help people with traumatic brain injury. She is one of the founding editors of the scientific journal Social Neuroscience, which investigates the neurological basis of social behavior and emotions.
