The Community Health Action Coalition in La Plata County has developed “My Life: Deciding in Advance,” an initiative designed to raise awareness about taking charge of your future health care.
The initiative will encourage physicians and other health care providers to discuss advance care with patients. Attorneys, financial planners and other professionals will also be taught to comfortably raise the issue with their clients.
The program is seeking donations to help with implementation. To contribute, visit http://bit.ly/293gBvY.

This presentation will help participants understand what their brains are trying to tell them. The goal is to learn how to feel and heal more deeply, instead of staying on the “hamster wheel” of repetitive thoughts.
