The class will discuss mitigation for radon levels greater than 4.0.

Food-safety training for food producers
Food-safety training required for Colorado cottage-food and egg producers will be held from 12:30 to 5 p.m. May 27 at the Archuleta County Extension Building, 344 U.S. Highway 84, in Pagosa Springs.
This course will cover the requirements for food safety, safe food handling, cross-contamination and cross-contact of food allergens; temperature control for safe food preparation, storage, transport and sales; ingredient labeling and disclaimer requirements.
Also covered will be: business specifics and expectations for selling food items produced in a home kitchen and for the selling of backyard eggs.
The cost is $30 per person. Attendees will receive a food certificate for display. Advance registration is required no later than 5 p.m. May 22.
