Health coalition announces leader
Eileen Wasserbach is the new chairwoman of the Community Health Action Coalition board.
Wasserbach, who also is the executive director of Southern Ute Community Action Programs, has served on the coalition’s board since 2011.
She is experienced with grants and grant management, and she brings a familiarity with the needs and resources existing in the eastern portion of La Plata County.
The coalition is the coordinating body for communication, collaboration, education and other health-related activities in the county.
