12:30 to 5 p.m. Aug. 7 at First United Methodist Church, 515 N. Park in Cortez.
8 to 11 a.m. Aug. 12 in the Bloodmobile at First National Bank of Durango, 259 W. Ninth St.
11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Aug. 13 in the Bloodmobile at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 910 East Third Ave.
12:30 to 3 p.m. Aug. 14 in the boardroom of La Plata Electric Association, 45 Stewart Drive.
2:30 to 6:30 p.m. Aug. 14 at the Cross Road Community Church, 1044 Park Ave. in Pagosa Springs.
3 to 6 p.m. Aug. 19 in the Bloodmobile at The River Church, 860 Plymouth.
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 21 in the Bloodmobile at the Whalen Gym at Fort Lewis College.
9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 23 in the Bloodmobile at Santa Rita Park, 149 South Camino del Rio.
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 29 in the Bloodmobile at Animas Surgical Hospital, 575 Rivergate Lane.

Healthy Communities Coalition to host picnic
The San Juan Basin Health Department’s Celebrating Healthy Communities Coalition will host a picnic from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Shoshone Park in Ignacio.
Participants should bring their own picnic and a fruit or vegetable item to share in a common salad. Drinks will be provided.
Participants will learn how the coalition supports youth in avoiding risky behaviors. A short meeting will highlight the coalition’s accomplishments in 2013-14, and participants will be asked about upcoming activities. There will be music and games.
