As part of National Public Health Week, San Juan Basin Public Health will hold a community event from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Durango Community Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave.
The theme of the event is “Public Health Planning: Using Science and Action to Improve Health,” which will highlight the agency’s recently released Public Health Improvement Plan.
There will be an open house with appetizers, door prizes and interactive activities for all ages. Spanish language and sign language interpretation will be provided, upon request.
