The Colorado Department of Human Services has a smartphone app to give customers instant mobile access to benefits, documents and tips.
The MyCOBenefits app can reduce customers’ trips to benefits offices while freeing up county service centers.
With the app, customers can quickly check their balances, status or messages in programs such as SNAP food benefits, Colorado Works and other Adult Financial programs. They can also take smartphone photos of documentation and upload them for review.
“With this app, customers and county employees will have instant access to resources they want and need,” said Megan Rymski, a CDHS project manager, in the news release.
The MyCOBenefits app is available on Android and iPhone operating systems, through the phone app stores. The app is available in Spanish.
