Heart Safe La Plata, a local nonprofit, will offer basic first-aid and CPR classes in August.
3-6 p.m. Wednesday, community basic first aid.6 -10 p.m. Wednesday, community adult/child/infant CPR.6-10 p.m. Aug. 14, adult/child/infant CPR and CPR for health care professionals.All classes will take place at the Durango Fire & Rescue Station 1, 142 Sheppard Drive.
Fees are $55 for basic first aid and $65 for CPR, or $85 for both. Groups of 10 or more may schedule private classes.
