Heart Safe La Plata, a local nonprofit, will hold a basic first-aid class at 3 p.m. and an adult CPR class at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2, at Durango Fire and Rescue Station 1, 142 Sheppard Drive.
A CPR class for health care providers will be offered from 6 to 10 p.m. Aug. 9 at the same location.
