As an avid “letters” reader, I have noticed an astonishing change in Hope Scheppelman’s dialogue.
Her tone seems to have changed, more conciliatory, well reasoned, a big change from her. Well, I don’t know if it’s true, but I seem to detect the fingerprints of AI-edited text. Yes, just a hunch, but reasonable dialogue, that’s a big switch from someone who bans journalists from meetings, won’t return requests for comment, etc.
Let’s see if that theme of constructive dialogue and common ground are her new standard, that would be a welcome change. Durango is pretty solidly blue, despite the last election. I’m glad she will be willing to reconcile and have honest conversations.
