Yesterday I was able to hike up the Ice Lakes Trail. The lake was breathtaking as usual however the trail was crowded and littered.
I ended up picking up toilet paper.
There were also numerous short cuts into vegetation, newly created as we hiked.
These findings were disturbing.
I’ve vowed to help the mountain associations erect more signs higher up the trail and to support them in their good work.
