The Ignacio 9Health Fair will be held from 7 to 11 a.m. April 28 at Ignacio High School, 315 Ignacio St., in Ignacio.
The event will offer several screenings for a range of costs, including: blood chemistry for $35; prostate-specific antigen for $35; hemoglobin A1C for $35; vitamin B12 for $20; blood count for $25, vitamin D for $50; colon cancer for $30; and testosterone for $40.
Fasting, although not mandatory, is highly recommended for those healthy enough. Twelve hours of fasting before tests are conducted is recommended for most accurate results.
Southwest Colorado residents should note that Bayfield will not host a health fair this year.
