Elementary, middle and high school students are invited to submit entries for the annual Friends of the Library Bookmark Contest. Two winners in each category will receive Maria’s Bookshop gift certificates. There will be 2,500 bookmarks printed of each winning design. Artists’ names will be included on the bookmarks.
Entries must include original artwork and a book-related quote and be 2 inches by 8 inches in size. Entry forms are available at Durango Public Library and at DurangoGov.org/Library. Entries must be submitted to the Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave., by Oct. 6.
The bookmark contest is co-sponsored by Friends of the Durango Public Library and Maria’s Bookshop.
