The Community Foundation serving Southwest Colorado appreciates the City of Durango’s support of the nonprofit sector (Jan. 26, “City of Durango awards more than $172,000 in Durango Relief Funds to nonprofits”)
The community foundation had the privilege of partnering with the city in this granting effort. The foundation’s work facilitating community generosity is one of the many supportive roles we play in our region.
From the Community Emergency Relief Fund (CERF) to Southwest Colorado Gives, we help provide nonprofits with vital resources and empower organizations to maximize their full potential and help make our corner of the world stronger. We are proud to share our knowledge and expertise with community partners such as the City of Durango, ensuring grants and donations have real impact.
Thank you to the city for making a difference in Southwest Colorado by supporting the nonprofit organizations that are doing much of the heavy lifting during this pandemic. Collaborations like these are the lifeblood of small towns, reminding us that we are better together.
