If the Herald is going to publish letters to the editor that contain completely inaccurate statements, the letters should also have a disclaimer attached that clarifies the statements and corrects the inaccuracies.
One such letter is the April 16 “Don’t be a health follower” one.
It is not true that the mRNA vaccines have little research backing them. They have been around for 15 years and have extensive research behind them. The vaccine manufacturers did trials with 30,000 individuals and these vaccines have proven to save lives.
Those of us who are vaccinated no longer have to be concerned that as we live our lives we might get a virus that can kill us. By publishing letters without clarifying the actual facts about vaccines ,the Herald is contributing to extending the pandemic in our community.
