I am writing in response to a letter from Jeff Wise (Herald, Oct. 17). Like Obamacare, slavery was the law. It was ratified by both houses, signed by the president and ratified by the Supreme Court. By Wise’s logic, he is or would be in favor of slavery. He and the paper this letter is in will never admit that the health-care law is not as promised.
