It’s time to give thanks and contemplate in this week’s sports schedule as April turns into May.
A month from now, high school sports will be all but over. Plenty of student-athletes will have finished their competitive athletic careers, and plenty of student-athletes will be thinking about what could’ve been with their respective seasons.
So, now is a good time to be thankful for all the blessings the spring sports season has given everyone before the anxiety and pressure ramp up with playoffs starting soon.
Teams are wrapping up their regular seasons, and teams like Durango High School baseball and Durango High School girls lacrosse have mid-week home games that are cruical to keep good momentum going as both teams have huge games to finish their regular seasons.
