The last week of March has arrived, bringing another busy week of local sports. College and high school spring sports are in full swing, with track and field, soccer, lacrosse, tennis, baseball and softball all in action this week. Here are all the local sports events for the upcoming week:
Fort Lewis College track and field
Spank Blasing Invitational on Friday and Saturday all day
The Skyhawks men's and women's track and field teams will head back to CSU Pueblo for their second of three meets at the Thunderbowl to begin the outdoor season. Last week’s Dr. Dan Caprioglio Invitational saw junior Alliyah Molina take first in the women's’ 10,000 meters and sophomore Zach Gaumont take fifth in the 100.
Fort Lewis College women's’ lacrosse
FLC at Westminster University on Friday at 4 p.m.
Records: The Skyhawks come into Salt Lake City looking to break a four-game losing streak that has them sitting at 1-8 overall and 0-3 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play. Westminster is also looking to break a losing streak, having lost three in a row. The Griffins are 3-5 overall and 0-3 in the RMAC.

Fort Lewis College softball
FLC vs. New Mexico Highlands on Saturday at noon and 2 p.m. and Sunday at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Records: The Fort Lewis women broke a 13-game losing streak by sweeping their four-game series last weekend against Adams State in dominant fashion. They bring a 6-22 (5-18 RMAC) record into their series against the NMH Cowgirls, who have lost 11 straight and sit at 8-25 and 2-22 in the RMAC.
