Colorado’s economy is one of the fastest growing in the country because in Colorado jobs and the environment go hand in hand. Tourists flock to the state, and especially to our Southwest region, because the environmental safeguards put in place over the past several years protect the environmental, cultural and historical attractions that tourists want to experience. Our state Rep. Mike McLachlan supports strong employment and understands the link between jobs and the environment.
We also appreciate the fact that Mike co-sponsored House Bill 252. Our family has solar panels on our home, and we feel that the bill improved the renewable energy standard in Colorado which will help all of us to be less dependent on foreign oil.
We need Mike to continue his work on our behalf in the Legislature. His influence can be seen in legislation that has supported women’s rights, basic human rights and recognition for the service of our military veterans. Mike’s opponent wants to undo such positive legislation. We need to keep Mike McLachlan in the Legislature because he is effective and because he represents us all, not just a particular segment of the residents of the district.
