Santa Fe-based art collective Meow Wolf recently selected Sweet 101, the only do-it-yourself music and arts venue in Durango, to receive a $1,000 grant. The funding is part of $256,000 in grants the collective will distribute to DIY venues across the country, and will be used by Sweet 101 to continue offering a space for underground music and art.
“It’s an opportunity for us to get our ship over the waves, and voyage out further,” said Alex Vick, Sweet 101 co-founder.
