Centura Health-Mercy Regional Medical Center will host a Facebook Live event at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday featuring Mercy Orthopedic Associates foot and ankle surgeon Dr. Bret Smith.
Smith will discuss foot and ankle health and answer questions. Smith specializes in total ankle replacement, bunion and hammertoe disorders, arthritis of the foot and ankle, deformity correction, foot and ankle trauma and flatfoot and tendon transfers.
He received his master’s and medical degrees from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Smith completed his internship and residency at Doctors Hospital, Ohio University, in Columbus, Ohio, and completed a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Center in Columbus.
