Anna Layden’s eighth-grade humanities class at Mountain Middle School will hold a “Resilience Cafe” exhibition from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the Main Mall lobby at 835 Main Ave.
The students have learned to define “resilience” by interviewing community members, researching historical figures and writing poems. They will perform original poems and sell books of their poetry and artwork at the exhibition.
