Music in the Mountains recently selected students to receive 2018 Shining Star and Private Lesson scholarships, which are sponsored by Bank of Colorado.
Shining Star Scholarship recipients include: Hana Albrecht, Leia Albrecht, Breeana Barrett, Brigham Barrett, Adam Brown, Dillon Burns, Joshua Burns, Ellie Casias, Brooke Casias, Johnny Chen, Libby Chen, Natalie Christensen, Emily Deming, Hannah Dobesh, Maya Fontenot, Sam Fontenot, Alex Gonzales, Mathew Gonzales, Isaac Greer, Nils Hansen, Yumin Hwang, Yusung Hwang, Thomas Jensen, Jordan Kitchens, Land Lambert, Xavier Lopez, Jessica McVaugh, Max Meyer, Brayden Miller, Nora Miller, Amelia Mouret, Maya Mouret, Kyana Newcomber-Ball, Anna Newman, Joel Newman, Levi Newman, Nathan Newman, Kiva Nicholreimer, Fred Reiter, Rose Reiter, Johanna Shaffer, Taia Shaffer, Bailey Smith, Ava Sneed, Celina Spinu, Hannah Stratton, Abria Thayer, Jakob Walker, Alynna Dyer, Alexander Wyne, Christopher Wyne and Gabriel Wyne.
Private Lesson Scholarship recipients include: Ben DeBelina, Aiden Shaffer, Daniel Shaffer and Logan Willie.
A reception for the 2018 scholarship programs will be held from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bank of Colorado, 1199 Main Ave.
Last year’s Shining Star Scholarship students will give a music performance and appetizers will be provided.
