The Native Connections Program has purchased 200 online licenses for suicide prevention training for employees and tribal members of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe.
The training is offered through the QPR Institute online platform and will discuss how to question, persuade and refer a person who may be suicidal; how to get personal help and learn more about suicide prevention; discuss the common causes of suicidal behavior; address warning signs of suicide; and how to help someone in crisis.
The training is free to employees and SUIT members.
