Neighbor not a fan of Tico Time’s noise

I know many of you have visited Tico Time. But before you decide to go again, I ask you to consider the effect it has on the residents of the community, many of whom have lived here for decades.

We all moved out here to enjoy the peaceful, rural lifestyle – not live next to an all-night concert venue. The music for events starts at 10 a.m. and goes on until 3 a.m. the next day, or three or four days, and is extremely loud as the stage is next to cliffs, which only amplify the noise carrying all through the valley. Sometimes, our windows rattle.

Try to enjoy outside, “boom-boom.” Try to watch a movie, “boom-boom.” Try to sleep at 12, 1, 2 or 3 a.m., “boom-boom.” We have spoken many times to owener Robert Holmes about it, trying to reach a compromise, but it never happens. So next time you think about coming out here, think about us.
