A gluten-free harvest fair
Natural Grocers will offer a free sampling of gluten-free foods from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 20. Selections will include a variety of baked goods, side dishes and snack ideas for everyday cooking or for the upcoming holiday season. Annual Bark and Wine fundraiser will benefit Humane Society
Local foods will be a highlight of the eighth annual Bark and Wine fundraiser and silent auction to benefit the La Plata County Humane Society. The event will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the La Plata County Fairgrounds. Tickets are $25 per person and include a plate of local food, dessert selections and the chance to bid on a wide variety of silent auction items. Beer and wine will be available for purchase.
