An Overdose Awareness Day event will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sept. 7 at Buckley Park.
International Overdose Awareness Day aims to raise awareness about overdoses, reduce the stigma of drug-related deaths and generate discussion about evidence-based overdose prevention and drug policy.
The event seeks to spread the message about the tragedy of drug-overdose death and that drug overdose is preventable.
