Photo: A pathway to imagination at the Durango Arts Center

Peter Hays, exhibits director at the Durango Arts Center, walks through the Barbara Conrad Gallery on Friday surrounded by “Creativity Festivity” works of art. In its 24th year, the show features hundreds of pieces made by K-12 students from 14 area schools using the theme “Art: Pathways to Imagination.” The gallery show will run through April 14. Theater performances of “Giants in the Sky,” a new children’s musical, will be held April 16-17 at the arts center, 802 East Second Ave.
