Team Homeslice Pizza won the 2026 Battle of the Animas on Wednesday as they were the first boat to beach in Santa Rita Park with Ska Brewing following in second place close behind. Eleven restaurants and 79 participants started at the 32nd Street put-in in north Durango. This was Homeslice’s first victory in the past 15 years. Serious Texas Bar-B-Q south finished third. The race is hosted by Mild to Wild Rafting & Jeep Tours.
