Flor Rodriguez, co-owner of the fresh tortilla business Tortilleria La Flor, is seen with her children Andy, 19, and Britney, 11, at the business on Friday at 444 E. College Drive. In May, Rodriguez severely injured her hand in an accident involving a tortilla-making machine. The business was closed for five weeks, then opened intermittently as she traveled to Denver for follow-up care. With continued physical therapy, Rodriguez expects to be able to use her hand in the future. “My children really stepped up helping out, and I would like to thank the community for all the support,” she said.
