According to the scanner, Durango Police Department officers mobilized at about 10:20 p.m. Friday in the area near the Ptarmigan Center in response to a burglary alarm at a marijuana dispensary.

The Ptarmigan Center, at the intersection of Florida Road (County Road 240) and East Animas Road (County Road 250), is home to the Rocky Mountain High medical marijuana dispensary, which was the scene of an armed robbery in February.

Officers checked out the area and reported slowing traffic near Riverview Drive, but the scanner didn’t include any reports of discovering a break-in by 10:45 p.m.
