Four Leaves Winery in Durango will debut a limited edition “Rescue Reserve” wine group this weekend at the Four Corners Pet Expo. The labels depict Humane Society dogs and cats on the labels.

There is a red and a white wine, available at the Expo for $20 per bottle, with $7 going to the Humane Society.

The pet expo will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at La Plata County Fairgrounds and is expected to benefit several local animal charities.

There will be pet adoptions by the La Plata County Humane Society, Annie’s Orphans, Blackhat Humane Society, American Black & Tan Coonhound Rescue, Farmington Animal Shelter and TNR Cat Care. The expo also is expected to feature veterinary clinics, pet food and supplies, grooming and training, horse rescue, K-9 police dogs and pet photography. Admission is $3 for adults; children younger than 12 are free; and it’s free to anyone with a donation of pet food or treats.

The event is put on by Four Corners Expo, which is a division of BCI Media. BCI Media owns The Durango Herald. For more information, call 375-4594.
