A presentation about fake news, “Stop Fake News: How to Spot It and How to Stop It,” will be held at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 23 at Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave.
Library Director Sandy Irwin and Durango Herald Senior Editor Amy Maestas will give the presentation and cover topics, including how to spot fake news and how to stop it from spreading.
The presentation is free and open to all who want to learn about the dangerous impact of fake news.
