Trump’s remarks towards elected lawmakers who differ from him shows just how un-American he is. The freedom to criticize your country and its government is the most American thing you can do. Why wouldn’t we want to look at our country and work to make it better for everyone?
Let’s face it. We are all immigrants. Native Americans are the only indigenous people in the U.S.
And what about freedom of speech?
Trump is an immigrant – a fact he seems to forget. He, his wives and children have the same citizenship status as these four women.
Trump’s statements about outspoken people whose opinions differ from his are divisive, disrespectful, and the opposite of wanting to make America great again. Diversity and debate is what makes America great. Free speech is what makes America great.
Trump is tearing America apart. He is the one who should apologize to the American people for his un-American statements that want to deny people their guaranteed constitutional rights because he doesn’t like what they say; who wants to send U.S. citizens out of the country for speaking out. This sounds like Nazi Germany, China, and other countries where you were or are not allowed to criticize the government on pain of imprisonment or death.
Do we really want to live in a country like that?
